Callahan Driving School was founded in 2011 by Bryan Callahan. Bryan started teaching Driver Education for the Bethlehem Area School District in 1994. When state funding to school districts was cut, most school districts throughout the state were forced to drop many of their programs. Bryan saw a need for access to quality driver education/training and after many inquiries from students he officially opened Bryan Callahan’s Driving School in 2011.
In the years since, Bryan built the business up with a combination of the best teaching instruction techniques, in a stress free environment and with a following of loyal repeat customers who then sent their younger teenagers when they turned 16.
In 2018, with the DMV testing centers over booked and a months long waiting period to test, the State passed the law for PennDot to approve and regulate Third Party Testing Centers to give broader access and shorter wait times for those seeking their drivers license.
In 2019 Bryan partnered with his brother, former Mayor of Bethlehem John Callahan to create Callahan Driving School and Testing Center. In the last 8 years John has been actively involved in business development. Together Bryan and John have created the ultimate experience for beginning student drivers and their parents.
Students learn in a stress free, one on one coaching environment and also schedule their driving test in as little as 2 days during their own personal 15 minute time slot at our PennDot Authorized testing center instead of waiting months to get into the local DMV.
